Sweet August made its debut in January of 2011 and honestly has morphed into something bigger than we ever thought possible. What does that mean exactly??? Well we have grown SAE into a full service/design company that has a team of people….an amazing team, I might add. In the last 7 years we have really challenged ourselves to stay authentic and honest. Below are the truest things I know about us:

Katherine has always been inspired by her mother's honest and sincere ability to serve others. Her mother taught her to serve others before yourself and always, always be kind. This concept has definitely been the TRUE inspiration to Sweet August Events. Katherine's sheer tenacity, leadership, dedication, humble heart and love for all things beautiful (she tends to find beauty in everything) has not only built a company that she loves but has built a dream team in the Event Industry.

Janell's arrival to Sweet August Events seemed so organic. She has been with Sweet August Events for almost 7 years and definitely has earned her position as a veteran. Her aesthetics and design studies have made her cutting edge in the production process. She is calm, professional and literally a super multi-tasker. A wife, mommy to beautiful Olive, Vita & Maceo.
